Award winning, pop, NYC singer-songwriter, Sarah Miles has announced that her third album will be released this summer. This time around, she is asking her fans to fund the project through a Kickstarter campaign. After writing a song a week over the last year, and touring the country playing the new material, she has been so gratified by the audiences’ response to the music that she feels this is the time to get back into the studio to record her best songs yet.
As a solo artist, Sarah’s song, “Something About You” has been featured on NBC’s, The Voice, and she’s toured with acclaimed singer-songwriters such as Sister Hazel, Tyler Hilton, Teddy Geiger, Tony Lucca, Ingram Hill, Matt Duke, Jesse Ruben, and Pat McGee.
Sarah has garnered comparisons to a broad array of artists such as Christina Perri, Sara Bareilles, Ingrid Michaelson, Taylor Swift and Kacey Musgraves. She has gorgeously flowing dynamics as a singer, capable of euphoric skyward melodies and intimately fragile phrasing. Her songwriting is empowering, authentic, and stylistically touches upon folk, pop, and country. It’s an infectious blend of accessible songcraft and bold emotional candor. “I like to write songs that are relatable to everyone,” Sarah says of the warm intimacy inherent in her songwriting.
