Mitchell Men's Soccer Falls 2-0 at Dean

FRANKLIN, Mass. - The Mitchell College men's soccer team suffered a 2-0 setback at Dean College on Wednesday evening in non-conference action.

The Bulldogs remained unbeaten on the season and improved to 11-0-0 overall. Samuel Fonseca scored in the 16th minute to give Dean the early edge, and Yuri Mascarenhas added an unassisted tally early in the second half to complete the scoring.

Mitchell goalie Anthony Drake played the entire 90 minutes and turned away five shots. Dean held a 16-1 advantage in shots.

Mitchell will next host Wheelock College on Saturday, October 10 at 3 p.m.
