On January 25, 2018 at approximately 9:46 p.m., firefighters, the Killingworth Fire Marshal, troopers from Troop F-Westbrook and detectives from the Connecticut State Police Fire and Explosion Investigation Unit (FEIU) responded to 33 Bridle Path Trail in Killingworth for a residential structure fire.
After firefighters extinguished the fire, a deceased victim was located inside the residence.
