People's Credit Union Donates to Bristol Warren Education Foundation
MIDDLETOWN, RI -January 9, 2020- People's Credit Union recently donated $1000 to the Bristol Warren Education Foundation (BWEF), an independent community-based organization dedicated to promoting excellence in the Bristol Warren Regional School District. The donation will go towards providing grants to teachers and staff for innovative, high-quality programs that enhance and enrich educational experiences for students. People's Credit Union also helps support their Annual Bee, "Bee Amazed" and is the presenting sponsor of BWEF's Food Truck 5k/10k, one of their largest fundraisers.
BWEF acts as a catalyst, broadening the base of support for public education in Bristol and Warren, and helping to shape an educational experience of the highest caliber for all students in the district. Nicky Piper, BWEF Chair stated, "As the Bristol Warren Education Foundation works to support teachers in bringing creative learning solutions to all the students of our district, we are proud to stand alongside People's Credit Union, as critical partners in this important mission. People's Credit Union Employees are Casual for a Cause
MIDDLETOWN, RI - January 7, 2020 - People's Credit Union employees recently donated over $350 to the Kiwanis Club of Aquidneck Island, a local nonprofit located in Middletown, RI. The donation was given through employee donations for the Credit Union's employee dress down day, called Casual for a Cause.
