Men’s Golf Ties For Seventh At CCC Qualifier



OLD ORCHARD BEACH, Maine – The Roger Williams University Men's Golf team finished in a tie for seventh place Thursday afternoon at the Commonwealth Coast Conference Qualifier, the team's first tournament of the season.


 
Hawk Highlights
Burke Howell (Beverly, Mass.) paced the Hawks

with a round of 84, tying for 11th place overall. Ben Brodeur (Whitinsville, Mass.) was one stroke behind Howell, carding an 84 and finishing in a tie for 14th.
 


Ben DeFelice (Warwick, R.I.) logged a score of 86 to come in a tie for 23rd, while Tom Manning (Andover, Mass.) and Trevor Hada (Los Angeles, Calif.) finished back to back with scores of 96 and 99 to take 38th and 39th, respectively.
 


Nichols took the team title with the Bison's Colby Mitchell earning medalist honors at -3. Nichols along with Endicott, UNE, and Suffolk qualified for the CCC Championship in the spring.

Ben Brodeur: 84 (+12); T-14th
Ben DeFelice: 86 (+14); T-23rd
Tom Manning 96 (+24); 38th
Trevor Hada: 99 (+27); 39th
