Men’s Golf Ties For Seventh At CCC Qualifier

OLD ORCHARD BEACH, Maine – The Roger Williams University Men's Golf team finished in a tie for seventh place Thursday afternoon at the Commonwealth Coast Conference Qualifier, the team's first tournament of the season.

 
Hawk Highlights
Burke Howell (Beverly, Mass.) paced the Hawks

with a round of 84, tying for 11^th place overall. Ben Brodeur (Whitinsville, Mass.) was one stroke behind Howell, carding an 84 and finishing in a tie for 14^th.
 

Ben DeFelice (Warwick, R.I.) logged a score of 86 to come in a tie for 23^rd, while Tom Manning (Andover, Mass.) and Trevor Hada (Los Angeles, Calif.) finished back to back with scores of 96 and 99 to take 38^th and 39^th, respectively.
 

Nichols took the team title with the Bison's Colby Mitchell earning medalist honors at -3. Nichols along with Endicott, UNE, and Suffolk qualified for the CCC Championship in the spring.
