PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Bryant collected 14 hits and scored 15 runs en route to a 15-3 victory over the Brown baseball team in Tuesday afternoon's non-conference matchup at Murray Stadium.

Brown (12-23) registered 10 hits in the seven-inning game, while the Bulldogs improved to 29-7 on the season.

Garrison Banas limited the Bears to five hits over four scoreless frames to pick up the victory, while Robbie Stephens (Lexington, Ky.) took the loss for the home team. Rob Henry (Cranston, R.I.), Kevin Guthrie (Sarasota, Fla.), Brian Ginsberg (Calabasas, Calif.) and Mark Sluys (Gig Harbor, Wash.) had two hits apiece to lead the Brown offense.

Bryant opened up the scoring with six runs on five hits in the second inning, including a three-run home run from Zach Wood. The Bulldogs added another big inning in the fourth frame when the visitors scored nine runs on six hits and took advantage of four walks for the 15-run advantage.

Brown jumped on the board in the fifth when Marc Sredojevic (Mendham, N.J.) drove in Jake Levine (Newton, Mass.) on a fielder's choice.

The Bears tacked on two more runs in the seventh when Ginsberg hit an RBI double to left center before Sluys sent in Tim McKeithan (Arden, N.C.) on a single through the right side.
