MEN’S CROSS COUNTRY PLACES 31st AT JAMES EARLEY INVITATIONAL

Westfield, Mass.--Rhode Island College sophomore Jonathan Carney (Bristol, RI) finished 130th (373 runners) with a time of 28:58.84 to lead the Rhode Island College men’s cross country team at the 2015 James Earley Invitational hosted by Westfield State on Saturday morning.
 
RIC finished 31st (38 teams) with a score of 942. Union won the meet with a score of 100.

Freshman Anthony Ricci (Ashford, CT) placed 256th (31:30.52). Freshman Jeff Garson (Cumberland, RI) finished 263rd (31:45.35).
 
Freshman Destin Bibemi (Providence, RI) finished 281st (32:23.36). Senior Nate Mann (Cumberland, RI) finishing 325th (34:44.76).
 
In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at the Western New England Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 17.
