Trinity Men's Tennis Stumped by Wesleyan

Middletown, Conn. - The Trinity College Bantams dropped an 8-1 match to the No. 11 ranked Wesleyan University Cardinals on Wednesday afternoon in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) men's tennis action in Middletown. Trinity falls to 5-4 overall while Wesleyan improves to 6-5. Sophomore Rex Glickman (Chappaqua, N.Y.) and senior tri-captain Ford Traff (Wayzata, Minn.) earned the lone victory in the No. 1 doubles spot with an 8-5 victory. Juniors Rutendo Matingo (Weston, Mass.) and William Boyd (Hillsborough, Calif.) fought hard in the No. 3 doubles spot for Trinity but ultimately fell, 9-8. The Bantams return to action on Saturday as they travel to Tufts to take on the Jumbos at 1 p.m.
