SCSU Field Hockey Receives 2018 ZAG Field Hockey/NFHCA National Academic Team Award

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – For the 12th consecutive-year,  the Southern Connecticut State University field hockey team earned the ZAG Field Hockey/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) National Academic Team Award.  National Academic Team honors from the National Field Hockey Coaches Association.

The Division II National Academic Team Award recognizes programs that earned a team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher during the fall semester of the 2018-19 school year. In addition, SCSU field hockey previously had 14 student-athletes honored on the 2018 Northeast 10 Fall Academic Honor Roll.

In total, the Owls were one of 30 programs at the Division II level to be recognized with this honor.
